Moving around the Earth at 28,000 kilometers per hour (17,500 mph) and at an altitude of 400 kilometers, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) experience amazing views of our home planet and document the Earth in high resolution photos, using the many professional cameras onboard the station. These 8K and 12K resolution visuals have been created by compositing those individual source images.
